Wotcher Watcher
Just read on a friend's timeline a warning about 'poll watchers,' and what to do if you encounter any on election day (contact the FBI at the following number(s), blah blah blah). I thought it was a hoax, so, like all other information I find hard to believe, I googled it. Apparently it is no hoax, according to several credible news sources. I can't believe my own level of ignorance. Here I have been all my life, thinking the US is a democracy. Boy, how wrong I have been. From bought elections to intimidating voters... how is that a democracy? How is it any different than living in a place like Russia? Cuba? I wish I could do-over this year and go back to living in my blissfully ignorant pre-2016 US election existence. The two countries I admired most aside from my own--the US and the UK--are the ones I now fear the most, and can never trust again after every thing I have recently witnessed. I am shaken to my core.

Do Not Cross
Bernie Sanders' supporters. Get it? DNC, DNC. Thanks Wiki Leaks. Those 20K emails will hopefully be useful evidence in the class action Bernie supporters have against the DNC. I hope they nail the Committee to the wall. I think it is high time the US got itself two brand new shiny parties that are anti-establishment and unmarred by the corruption that seems to be plaguing the two old boys clubs.
While His Guitar Gentlly Weeps at the Sun Running in the Other Direction
If George Harrison was alive today, he would be angry as hell. and I hope his family will do as Trump would do in such a situation, and sue Trump's ass, for unauthorised use of Harrison's/The Beatles' song, 'Here Comes the Sun.' How many times, and by how many artists in the past year has Trump been warned about unauthorised use of music? Neil Young, The Rolling Stones, REM and a few other groups have all warned him, some formally through lawyers and some just through social media, to cease and desist or they would take it further. He has stopped for a while and then started up again, especially with Stones and Neil Young music. Neil Young is not someone he wants to mess with, so that might get interesting.
In the case of Harrison, in particular, Trump stands in complete opposition to everything he ever represented. Harrision was about love, peace and unity. He's probably rolling in his grave. It makes me want to cry. The fact that I currently feel like I'm being mildly to moderately electrocuted every 30 or so seconds because I had to switch anti seizure medication from Gabapentin to Topamax, and I still haven't built up to a level of Topamax that will stop those electric shocks yet is also compelling me to cry but that is neither here nor there. I am trying to fit as much sleep into a 24 hour day as I possibly can right now so I don't have to suffer through it....

Trauma
The establishment was warned that if Clinton was the nominee, voters would either stay home, cast a third party vote, or write in, and as a result of the DNC rigging the primary, there is likely going to be a very dangerous result this November. No one likes to have a candidate rammed down their throat, and especially a corrupt one. Thanks to DNC negligence, the entire world is now put in danger. Is there a way for the world to sue for damages? World ats DNC has a good ring to it.

They All Do
I might not look like a recognisable minority, but the thing is... I'm only three generations away from the gas chambers, and my great-grandparents' siblings were in fact lost to them. My extended family is tiny today because my great grandparents' siblings did not make it out. I will fight to ensure that ALL lives matter, whether they be black, yellow, blue, white, purple, grey, beige, I don't care who you are and where you come from, your life matters as much as anyone else's. Every soul was put on this earth for a mission. I just haven't figured mine out yet and some days I feel I am allowing time to run out. Tick tick tick.

Off
It would appear that careless stupidity is not a crime, according to the FBI.
On the one hand there is a presidential candidate who feels she is above the law, and everyone bends over backwards to prove this fact, and, on the other hand, there's a candidate who has serious mental illness and is a criminal in his own right, leaving a trail of fraud and xenophobia, wherever he goes.
The world is so screwed.

Happy Ca.... too soon?
June is almost done and I have no idea where the time went, and this weekend is a long one, thanks to Canada Day. There's a North American Summit being held in Ottawa this week. I am proud of our prime minister. He is keeping his promises all over the place, and has given us a much needed lift in morale. I am also grateful for the fact that in a world that is becoming increasingly more divided, he is doing his utmost to unite and include.
